Hi! My name is Amy and I am the owner and chief writer at The Work At Home Guide. This blog is a way for me to showcase how I’m making my way from being an employee at a traditional job to a self-employed, freelancing, work at home guru.
Right now I still work a regular full-time job outside the home and am slowing building up my freelance and work at home opportunities as well as my blogging and ecommerce sites as a way to replace that income. I’m a single mom and must work to provide for me and my daughter, but I desperately want the freedom to be home more for her. This site will showcase my progress and talk about what works and doesn’t work.
In addition to my own story, The Work At Home Guide showcases methods and opportunities for earning money working at home. These may be telecommuting opportunities, home based businesses, freelance opportunities or any other number of strategies.
